Just when I think we have made strides in our field I'm taken aback by what society thinks of the plus size community. If you ever wanted to see your favorite celeb or socialite depicted as plus size Spanish artist David Lopera has done just that. In his latest collection he has created images of celebs from Kim K to Katy Perry sporting his interpretation of a plus size celeb. When I initially heard of the art I was intrigued and of course I went trolling the Internet for the images.

Now You've seen the images what is your honesty opinion?
I feel honestly as if I don't know his angel in creating these pictures I wonder if he is praising us or making fun of our bodies. In some of the photos like Rita Ora and Katy Perry the midsections are huge and the modeling and overall taste of the picture is tragic for any size. I would like to believe there are millions of plus size women who look REAL and beautiful. When I think of art I don't think of this at all and the fact that some find it amusing or creative is beyond me.
I agree with you. If he was trying to create something that was beautiful or creative I think he may have steered in the wrong direction with this one.
